Everyone complains about the device needing to be plugged in, but the cord is hella long. Plus, unlike rechargable devices, this won't lose power, get slower, or run out of power and be left unable to use. Cleaning is cake, takes me maybe, 5 minutes, and that's cleaning, drying, and putting it all back together. Hands free clamp is a must, that should be your first extra you purchase. They add/update content at least on a quarterly basis, sometimes a little more often, and it's included with purchase. No subscription. Now, there are other sites they associate with, that do have subscriptions, but that's a choice, for the individual. I have never had a problem connecting the device, or using any of its features. If I had to list my cons, and honestly, it's a little blah, is the price of sleeves. I mean $50-$60? That's a bit steep for me... but hey, I still have the extra one I bought with the device and the one the came with, both in like new condition. All and all, after comparing this device online, to the other top devices, I'm a complete, happy customer, and would be willing to recommend this to anyone trying to find a good device for themselves.
